Our Mission is providing necessary facilities and service to improve sports abilities and Vocational training for youth, to uplift the nutrition level and widening the income sources of animal production task to take necessary actions to improve the agricultural productivity through providing irrigation facilities for agricultural activities with using lands in optional level to the objective for sustainable development.
Formulation of development plans, implementation and conducting progress revives of these activities relevant to the agricultural sector in the province.

About Us
The secretary is the chief executive officer of this ministry. This ministry has three main sections as administration, Development and Account. Three assistant Secretaries have been appointed for these three sections. They lead these sections. There are 29 other officer who works in this ministry including an administrative officer, a chief management assistant, management assistants, development assistants, project coordinating officers, program assistants, technical officers, drivers and office task assistants. This ministry has four departments Provincial directors have been appointed as chief executive officers for these departments. These provincial directors should be responded to the secretary of the ministry in directly. These departments have district deputy directors, district coordinating officer and large number of other officers in different levels. Capital expenditure is allocated under the ministry head of 850. It is included ministry and all departments under ministry. All recurrent expenditure is allocated for all department and ministry in separately, for relevant heads. Main administrative officers, formation & approval of annual action plans, implementation of annual plans, conducting monitoring and supervision, providing impress and financial administration are administrated by the secretary of the ministry.
Main Functuions
Administrative branch of the Ministry maintains all files relevant to Personal and Pensions of the ministry does extension of service, promotions, pensioning procedures and transfers of the staff members. Nevertheless the ministry conducts administrative activities of the minister and his staff. The development branch of the ministry takes actions for following matters. They are obtaining proposals for relevant sector to formulate the annual plan, formulation of annual action plan, apprising of relevant annual action plan, and give instructions for relevant departments to implement the annual action plan. The ministry mainly conducts & supervises following activities. Among them;
Calling progress reports from all relevant departments in relevant development projects of the approved annual plan in monthly.
Formulation & sending copy of aggregate progress report to the chief secretary in monthly & quarterly.
Supervising the physical & financial progress of the development projects of the annual plan and requesting impress.
Obtaining extra allocations for special development plans in several sectors through line ministries, and implementing those projects.
Requesting impress for capital expenditure and realizing these impress for departments.
Taking necessary steps to solve problems through conducting progress review meetings.
The account branch of the ministry mainly does following tasks.
Estimation of annual recurrent budget.
Maintaining ledgers.
Salary formulation of all staff of the ministry & minister’s staff.
Requesting impress & controlling allocations.
Conducting procument activities of the ministry.
Maintaining cash books & other documents.
Purchasing & maintaining stocks.
Writing all cheques.
